I'm restarting my blog after a sabbatical of 2 years. This period had been like a re-birth to me, as after a long time in my life I have found hope, a bright future to look forward to. I feel like a phoenix bird which has gone through fire and has born again.
The reason is the birth of my daughter Diya on February. I'm also extremely fortunate to have a wonderful husband who is also my best friend.

The birth of my daughter taught me new many things. To note a few-
  1. Firstly, a baby is not made of glass and will not shatter to pieces when I touch her :) .
  2. It is possible to live through the next day after sleeping only 4 hrs a night.
  3. There is always hope that I shall sleep longer and better after baby is 6 weeks old...3 months old...6 months old...so on and so forth...maybe we can get 8hrs sleep when baby is 30 years old...hope springs eternal ...Once the fountain of hope starts, it never depletes!!
  4. Avoiding coffee will not make me a zombie.
  5. Hearing the baby cry will not make me a nervous wreck.
  6. It is possible to fall in more deeply love each and every day.

And finally, now I have an excuse to not cook food...

Till next time,
